Size chart

To help you pick the right collar, harness or jacket for your dog requires just a few simple measurements. When measuring your dog use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string (which you can then measure).

Neck

  • Wrap the tape or string around the base of your dog’s neck (or the broadest part of their neck).
  • You should allow for enough room to fit two fingers between the neck and the measuring tape (or string).
  • For Sighthounds and other long necked breeds collars are worn higher so take the measurement where the collar would naturally sit, normally higher up the neck.

Length

  • Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (where the tail joins the body).

Chest

  • Find the widest part of the torso, usually their ribcage and measure.
  • You should allow for enough room to fit two fingers between the chest and the measuring tape (or string).

Each pattern is drawn up and designed in-house at By Scout in the Netherlands. They love to play with graphic shapes, forms, and different textures and create amazing color combinations. All patterns woven by one of the best Italian weaving mills. 

The organic hemp webbing makes them extra unique. Hemp is one of the most durable and strong natural fibers around. It feels soft and comfortable on the skin, has anti-bacterial and non-allergenic properties, holds its shape, dries quickly, and will not mildew or fray.

    Wear: Collars are perfect for all dogs. However, we recommend using a harnesses or martingale collars during walks if you have a severe puller, escape artist, or a heavy/strong dog.

    Care: Machine wash. Wash in the delicate/hand wash cycle and air dry. We advise using a washing bag to protect the hardware during washing in the machine.

    To keep your collar in great shape, we recommend: rinsing off the collar, and the inside of the buckle, with clean water, after a visit to the beach or after being in contact with salt water.
